Dark purple in colour, this smells of intense blackcurrant jam and white pepper, with complex undertones. It is clean and refreshing, with good ripe fruit and good balance. One of the most successful Crozes Hermitages from the 2002 vintage, this is enjoyable now or over the next 2-3 years. (TK)
