This delicious, black Shiraz has hints of chocolate, menthol and tobacco leaf
of the nose. Plums, blackcurrant and spice flavours abound on the palate and are
perfectly balanced by fine, supple tannins. A dark, rich purple colour. This

"Heartland Shiraz is made with a blend of fruit from the Langhorne Creek and
Limestone Coast regions. Consequently, it has great richness, as well as
attractive spice characters. This wine is over the top in every way, shape and
form, but it has been exceedingly well made - so if you like your wines laden
with blackberries, plums, prunes and five spice, you'll adore this one. The
palate is so weighty that it is almost syrupy and, although the alcohol is high,
there is no heat...it is great value: better than many more expensive wines. "
